About the company

Silja Ltd. is a Latvian company established in 1995.

The principal business of the company is trade and repair services of agricultural, forestry and communal machinery. For more than 10 years we have developed close cooperation with well known producers of machinery and equipment from Finland, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Ireland, England etc.

We are successfully developing other sectors of the company as well:
-trade and repair services of machinery for vegetable-growing
-wholesale and retail of horticultural goods and ornamental plants
-Rural Communication Centre – informative services; products made by Latvia’s artisans.

We have developed close cooperation with the Latvian Rural Advisory Centre, Latvia University of Agriculture, plant breeding and experimental stations, agricultural educational institutions, Farmers Parliament, the Cooperation Council of Agriculture Organisations as well as ministries of agriculture of Finland and Latvia. Several projects have been implemented that have provided both material support and knowledge to several farms in different fields. Silja Ltd. is one of the founding organizations of the Association of Traders of Agricultural Machinery of Latvia.

The main office of SilJa Ltd. is located in Riga; we have representative offices in Kurzeme, Vidzeme and Latgale.
